I am also responsible for the repair and maintenance of Grade II listed Bodorgan Hall and a large number of other listed buildings in the Estate's widely varied portfolio of buildings. Other duties include liaising with tenants and other members of the Estate's varied staff. Working with the companies other business interests including tenant farmers, and a car racing circuit. Managing and carrying out maintenance on the estates portfolio of buildings, including a Grade A listed Castle, tenanted properties, holiday lets. The work carried out was using and promoting traditional building skill and techniques wherever possible. Also responsible for the sourcing and managing of sub-contractors as and when the need arose, and the Health and Safety, CoSHH, Risk Assessments, etc.

Employed as a mason carrying out work on the Trusts large portfolio of property in Cornwall and Devon. Work carried out using traditional materials and techniques. Also involved in the Trusts on-going volunteer training programs on Lundy Island (Landmark Trust) and at Dunvegan Castle, Isle of Skye.

Carrying out Masonry work using lime mortars around Cornwall, mostly worked on re-pointing and masonry consoilidation of the Tin/Arsenic Mining Engine houses near Lanner.

Worked for the privatised Direct Labour arm of English Heritage. Duties included Cyclical and Response works on most of Cornwall's English Heritage managed Castle's, the Royal Marine Barracks, Stonehouse and the Royal Citadel, Plymouth. Also carried out masonry/plastering work for the National Trust in Cornwall (mostly following the Boscastle flood), and Penryn Masonic Lodge. I also gained my Craftmason qualification whilst employed by Quadron.

Work carried out included cornish hedging, stone wall building, cobbling, carpentry, fencing, footpath maintenance, and any other maintenance tasks as part of the Building and Maintenance Team.
