About Dave Blackburn

I am the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager for the College of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Birmingham. I manage and develop our performance across a range of digital marketing channels. Working with academics and professional services colleagues throughout the university I ensure our digital marketing activities are optimised for lead generation and conversion, whether that’s SEO performance, PPC and social media advertising, CRM strategies or campaign landing pages. I’m passionate about my work and always looking to improve my skills and knowledge. Detail oriented and a problem solver I enjoy the challenges of getting the most out of digital campaigns and creating engaging, successful user journeys and experiences. It gives me a great sense of achievement to be able to help a client and the end users get the most out of a website or digital campaign.
