Application Support
Current- Propose, discuss and evaluate potential solutions with users and the relevant application or service providers and implement agreed field modifications or workarounds as directed.
- Responsible for ensuring that the ICT tasks involved in application system upgrades and patches are correctly managed, working in conjunction with ICT Infrastructure Officers and suppliers as required.
- Manage corporate ICT projects and provide technical input to other ICT related projects where required, in accordance with the South Cambridgeshire District Council Project Management Toolkit standards.
- Respond to complex service desk requests raised by users. Take ownership of requests that are allocated and follow them from inception/allocation to completion, including user feedback.
- Maintain effective communication with all customers to better understand their requirements and how they can be achieved.
