My present job responsibilities, on large projects, are to find a suitable project to bid, obtian the electronic documents, quantify the project via "On Screen Takeoff" establish a base value via "Quickbid" develop a proposal, negoiate with the client and sell the project. Once a project is sold and a LOI is received then I oversee the final contract negoitations, submittal process, build a schedule of values to be uploaded into the accounting program of the company. Then, I am to provide support to the superintnedent, project manager and foreman via "the kickoff meeting" Finally I monitor the progress of the project to determine profitability. Smaller Projects are cradle to grave.
