•Liaising and negotiating with internal senior management to set expectations and to ensure service provision meets business needs and complies with corporate policy and procedure•Recruiting, directing and training the IT team, devising and implementing procedures and practices to improve the efficiency of the team, overseeing IT work instructions and standard operating procedures•Leading the helpdesk, resolving escalated level 1 and level 2 issues, offering technical services by assisting with problem resolution and coordinating problem solving with staff •Maintaining an expert knowledge and awareness of developments in IT, fundamentally responsible for designing, developing, installing and maintaining large information systems and related infrastructure•Spearheading all areas of IT including Disaster Recovery, Network Infrastructure, Mobile Communications as well as software and hardware support•Fundamentally responsible for strengthening the IT infrastructure and implementing new technologies, procuring IT hardware, software and maintenance products and services•Instrumentally accountable for performing routine audits of systems and software and skilfully safeguarding the security of all networks and systems - recommending and implementing improvements•Expertly reviewing, testing, guiding and supporting IT related projects, critically examining documentation for ICT procedures, security and disaster recovery, also periodically testing International DR plans•Collating information to accurately record changes relating to users, functions and systems, personally maintaining the internal and hosted network infrastructure including firewalls, servers, switches and telephony •Diligently managing and administrating Domain Infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Network Security, Backup Systems and Security of Network
