Deputy Chief of Current Operations Division. Responsible for the conduct of all conventional military operations on the Korean Peninsula. Directs the daily operation of the Joint Operations Center. Supervises 60 personnel. Responsible for negotiations with Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff to codify operational relationships as part of US military transformation on the Korean Peninsula.

Serves as lead agent for current Naval operations at the United Nations Command, US/ROK Combined Forces Command and US Forces Korea Command in Seoul, ROK. In addition to this, works issues related to US/ROK OPCON transfer which include: facility / design requirements definition, personnel billet and force structure, manpower analysis, development of integrated governing operational documents and development of updated Armistice Rules of Engagement. These items are developed through a series of weekly negotiations between my office and my counterparts are the ROK JCS HQ.
