Since 1990, I have had an extensive career in the energy field. The first 10 years were in the energy conservation/efficiency industry as a consultant recommending and installing energy retrofits and Title 24 consultation.For the past 17 years, I have been working in the Solar Industry, starting as a residentialinstaller, progressing to crew lead and construction manager overseeing multiple trades. I have managed construction, training and operations at companies in the solar industry including SunPower, Borrego, and Toshiba.Notable projects include multiple solar parking shade structures on Kaiser Permanente facilities, and Solano Community College School District, 1-7MW ground mount projects for community college districts, waste water facilities as well as working on some of the largest utility scale solar projects in the US.I hold certifications in OSHA 30, as well as forklift, electrical, fall protection and has been an OSHA outreach trainer. I was an early recipient of NABCEP certification. I also hold a B.A in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University (1995) with a focus in Energy Management and Design.
