Chartered Engineer working within the UAS sector since 2003. Extensive experience in operational analysis and scientific assessment of UAS capabilities including: trials management, future capability and requirements assessments, research requirements scoping, and provision of SME advice to operational, research, procurement and senior policy customers. Extensive experience at working in both civil and military environments and delivering at pace to a wide variety of customers. Experienced in both verbal and written briefings at up to 3* level and production of written briefings and assessments to cross government customers up to ministerial level. Experienced at management and direction of multiple contracts for strands of UAS research work across a variety of organisations as well as acting as a focal point for furthering collaboration work on UAS across multiple governmental entities, private sector and international organisations.Experience covers the spectrum of UAS types and procurement cycle, with trials and assessment of future and in-service UAS as well as concept demonstrators and future capabilities. Adjacent to this, significant knowledge on UAS vulnerabilities and being extensively involved in evaluating threats, risks and efforts to mitigate these.Direct systems experience across a wide range of UAS and their associated sub-systems.
