I played a key role within the Corporate Integrated Logistics function from inception in 2011 until early 2019, ensuring the Integrated Logistics process governance framework was developed and implemented on existing and new programs to enable support systems to be optimised. The role included oversight of the procedural framework, management of functional budgets and resources, and independent review of program and project operations. A key aspect involved providing advice and direction to programs (and pursuits) at various stages in the product life cycle from acquisition through transition and into sustainment.From mid 2017 I started shifting gears to focus much of my attention on supporting the Land 19 Phase 7B project to introduce the NASAMs Ground Based Air Defence System into Australian service.

The role of the Raytheon Six Sigma Expert is to champion the application of Raytheon Six Sigma processes across Raytheon Australia to drive improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, capability and capacity to achieve strategic KRAs, provide value to the Customer, drive change and improvement across the business and deliver business benefits. Following certification as a Raytheon Six Sigma Expert (“Black Belt”) in November 2010, I was appointed to the role of Lead Expert to mentor other Raytheon Six Experts until their certification by the US and RA Certification Boards.

Support for solution, bid development and submission activities for multiple business pursuits. I played a key role in achieving Australian Military Type Certification and Service Release for the A109E aircraft under the Retention and Motivation Initiative (RMI) project providing leased helicopter to support Naval aviators at NAS Nowra.I provided program transition support including transition of the RMI project to an operational program, and Project Management support for the APG-73 ISS Program to introduce a highly specialised radar test bench into RAAF Williamtown.

I moved to Brisbane, and joined Australian Aerospace. As the Senior maintenance Manager I supported a range of activities for both the Acquisition phase and TLS contracts for the Air 87 Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) project.

The Airworthiness Regulation Section within the Directorate General Technical Airworthiness (DGTA-ADF) was responsible for developing and promulgating technical airworthiness regulations (design and continuing airworthiness) as well as policy for the management of ADF aviation assets. I was the Officer-in-Charge both in RAAF uniform and then at APS Executive Level 2.
