Currently employed as a High End Specialist Support Manager covering the premium high end wide format digital printing machines supplied by Agfa.I manage a team of 11 engineers who are at the top of there game supporting the fastest wide format flatbed printing machines in the world. The team are located across the UK and the USA although we cover a worldwide audience.Myself along with the whole team have worked our way through the ranks from Customer Support engineers travelling the world on installation and break fix through to more advanced technical support and now work alongside R&D providing specialist support wherever it is required across the whole high end product range.Previously i spent 11 years working as a worldwide Technical Product Support Team Lead and Engineer.Responsible for installation, Commissioning, Upgrades and Onsite Conversions on state of the art digital printing machines and loading/stacking systems.Lead installation and training engineer on ABB robotic loading / Unloading systems.Providing onsite and remote support, fault finding and repair of all electrical and pneumatic systems including PLC interrogation.Responsible for carrying out 1st time onsite upgrades / conversions working alongside R&D engineers and the writing of Technical Publication documentation for other engineers to follow.Previous to Inca / Agfa i spent 6 years working as an electrical engineer in Europe's largest offset litho printing company. I also served as a member of the Royal Air Force and have 13 years experience working on military aircraft as an electrical/avionics technician.
