Manage escalations and conduct credit analysis on commercial clients with credit risk exposures of over $5 to $30million.• Partner District Managers and simplify credit structures to create an effortless clients experience.• As a subject matter expert, I write and put together large credit files for approval by local and Corporate Risk Management• Analyse financial viability of commercial accounts emphasizing on revenue trends, net income, tangible net-worth and debt to equity ratio/tangible leverage, EBITDA, EBITDAR, debt repayment capacity, working capital adequacy, financial covenants, operating cash flow, capex, dividends, shareholders’ loan, quasi-equity, other investments and net free cash flow.• Review other non-financial factors, such as management experience/capability, commitment in the business, bonus expenses for executives, succession planning age of business owners, list of assets in case of personal guarantee to factor any off-balance sheet equity to shore up financially weak files • Manage bankruptcy cases, contact Trustees and obtain secure funding to prevent losses• Visit clients at their business premises for discussion and understanding of their business and collect financial information to conduct credit reviews. Investigate fraudulent transactions that are being submitted in the Sales Conduit.• Manage environmental risks as applicable and manage the Money Laundering aspects of business through OSFI list, KYC etc.• Train and cross train ADP associates in Financial Analysis and Credit Risks.
