Led the implementation of a new financial planning system (OFA) to enhance planning across all product categories.Financial Analyst of Planning and Reporting Ensured accurate reporting to head office while reconciling to international reporting requirements. Selected Achievements at Lever Pond's: Led a cross-functional Activity Based Costing team to determine the profitability of customers and identify areas for cost savings within the order fulfilment stream.Identified a process flaw where deposits were made on returnable pallets, but no credits were being received once the pallets were returned to the vendors. This resulted in an immediate credit of over $100,000 as well as closing the process gap to prevent future exposure.Drove the implementation of Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA). OFA is a multi-dimensional database that improved flexibility and timing of planning & reporting. The project was delivered on time in spite of the departure of the original project leader. Designed and implemented Lotus based systems for Lever and Chesebrough Pond's sales force. Resulting system tracked profitability, trade spending and volume forecasting by customer account. This system was duplicated in a sister company in Canada and was demonstrated internationally.
