David Cassimatis is a General Aviation Pilot, with hour in many classes of aircraft such Cessna 152,182, Piper Cherokee, as well his passion for soaring with time in Multiple Glider types, Grobe 201 and ASK-21 to name a few.David has his background in Integrated Manufacturing with Specialties and focus in Computer Aided Manufacturing and Mechatronic for manufacturing Engineering. David has consulted for many companies and multiple startups and has been instrumental in the Design, Simulation, Testing and Development of Autonomous Aerial, Terrestrial and Telepresence Robotic Hardware as well as Automation Simulation and Automation Deployment.As an CAE Applications Engineer, David has overseen the Selection, Deployment and Utilization of Engineering Software Applications as well as supplying Engineering Support and Training Support for companies using SolidWorks, SolidWorks EPDM, Autodesk Inventor, Inventor NASTRA, Autodesk Building System and Inventor Revit, Pro/E Creo Parametric, TransMagic, Siemens NX, NX NASTRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS and others.David was a key player for projects utilizing Pro/E Creo Parametric for companies in support of Army Research for Phase I & Phase II SBIR Grants.As an undergraduate Research Assistant the University of Texas at Arlington David participated in and Conducted Research, Design, Automation Simulations and Testing for Automated Manufacturing Processes while at A.R.R.I now U.T.A.R.I Research Institute, while there he was Lead in Charge of the Redesign and Redeploy of the D.R.R.A.S Lab (dynamically reconfigurable Robotic Assembly System). At A.R.R.I David was Responsible for Repair, Refurbishment and Deployment of Multiple Mechanical Robotic Systems, Robot, Controllers, and Conveyor Systems.As a Research Assistant with the Aerodynamics Research Center also at University of Texas at Arlington, David participated in Research using Supersonic Wind Tunnel for testing of Aero Spike.As well David is an Autodesk MCAD Certified Applications Engineer for Autodesk's Mechanical CAD Software Suit which includes Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD Mechanical, and AutoCAD Electrical. David has acted as consultant to various companies pertaining to MCAD/CAE Manufacturing for CAD and Computer Aided Engineering for Manufacturing and has participated in all Phases of Concept to Completion with both technical and functional experience.He has lead 9 Month as well 5 Day In Depth Classroom Instruction as well as Onsite Cooperated Instruction and is a Certified Autodesk Support Professional.
