I am a qualified Engineer / Project Manager and have been involved predominately in Rail, Oil & Gas and Security Projects, this has included project management, commercial, cost control, planning, procurement in the delivering of telecommunication & security systems.This has involved the overseeing of sub-contractors, suppliers, testing and commissioning whilst ensuring all budgetary and contractual requirements are met.To enable these works to be completed has involved engagement with client/sub-contractors, overseeing health & safety requirements, including site briefing, inductions and safety tours. Ensuring all relevant information is reported correctly to the relevant governance.As a Project Manager I have managed numerous projects. These have involved the delivery of Fibre Optic, Telecommunications & Security Systems to London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, Tram Systems, Network Rail, and the Oil & Gas and Nuclear Industry.I am a qualified Project Manager to the Association of Project Managers (APM), Prince2, a qualified A1 Assessor and hold National Security Clearance - level SC.I am always looking at processes and practices to make improvements, along with all other pre-requisites of the project management role such as negotiation of variations, correspondence, planning and scheduling. As a project manager I have enjoyed delivering savings, negating risk and pursuing opportunities. This has saved money and that materials were on delivered on time and that staff were readily available for works.
