Working for Weyerhaeuser as an IT Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing capital IT projects from inception to execution and close down in a high availability manufacturing environment. Managing operation budgeting, planning, and team coordination activities. Leading project implementation efforts to introduce process and technology improvements. Providing application support and coordination activities, as well as managing the customer business requirements for IT.

Working in the PMO organization as a Sr. Project Manager and Project Team Lead, responsibilities included managing capital IT projects from conception to completion. Managed a project slate of multiple projects including UNIX/XP system deployments, COE deployments across large quantities of desktops, critical path data center moves, application development and support and more. Provided project planning, project team direction, as well as team management and escalation. Project budget management and primary technical contact for customer project requirements were also primary responsibilities. Specialized in taking on troubled high visibility profile projects and bringing them to satisfactory resolution for both the client and internal EDS management.

Transferred to DSS Team Lead. Provided operational management including full accountability for regional support team to client US Airways. Supported all airports within the state of Florida. Promoted to Technical Delivery Team Manager for Weyerhaeuser and then transitioned to EDS in March of 2001. Provided leadership for client Weyerhaeuser in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina crossing multiple customer businesses. Oversight of delivery to the client included planning, implementation, and ongoing support of delivery model. Responsibilities included hiring, training, and maintaining support team with first-line client support in multiple high impact locations. Organized project implementation efforts to introduce process and technology improvements for the customer. Primary responsibilities also included business relationship management, customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and increase account profitability. Provided technical leadership as well as management support.

Promoted to position within Weyerhaeuser U.S. Division. Provided Tier I, II, and III level support for client/server, network, and enterprise technologies in a high availability manufacturing system. Designed and implemented network, server, and client side technologies. Worked in a NT/2000/UNIX environment on several different hardware platforms. Implemented both Bay/Nortel and Cisco network equipment. Designed Microsoft SMS installations, Oracle and SQL Server planning, and worked primarily in a multiple master domain environments.
