Managed a small team of testers teaching/guiding them on: * SQL skills required to create and validate test scenarios (plus covered basic programming practices). * Organizing test cases and tracking progress within Team Foundation Server (TFS). * Creating a testing framework (page object model) on which automated tests should be based. * Creating automated tests using Selenium (for web apps), NUnit and C#. * Initial steps with using Winium to test windows apps.In addition to my own team of testers, I also worked with an off-shore team based in India.Evaluated, recommended and helped configure DriveTech's ticketing system. Also worked with facilities to allow them to manage company assets within the same system.Created a company intranet site in SharePoint after becoming frustrated at the lack of any framework for sharing key information within DriveTech. Used SharePoint to create reminders to IT when SSL certificates were due to expire, plus allowed facilities to track when venue related certificates/checks were due and to issue relevant email alerts. I was a key representative at IT meetings with a key fleet client, for whom we developed a dedicated website to help them manage their delivery drivers, a task which I continued in my subsequent role as IT Quality Manager.Ensured that the development of DriveTech's police applications would pass the AA's yearly audit of selected applications required for them to maintain their FSA accreditation. Along with Steve Harris, I co-developed and maintained a Microsoft .NET windows/web application, supported by web services accessing a SQL database for tracking referrals and their bookings for the Thames Valley police speed awareness scheme. This was expanded to cover over 10 forces and numerous schemes that allows drivers to receive training as an alternative to points on their driving licence or a fine. Worked as a contractor for Customs & Excise on an OpenRoad/Ingres betting & gaming duty accounting system, responsible for recording taxes due from the national lottery, bookmakers, casinos, fruit machines etc.

Worked on a project for Essex and Wiltshire police to help them manage all major aspects of police work, including recording incidents, suspects brought into custody, items of related property, vehicles etc. Application used OpenROAD and an Ingres database.
