Proud to serve as HDR's National Hydropower Practice Leader with a focus on client relationships, problem solving, strategic planning and supporting the highly important role our renewable hydropower and pumped storage fleet plays in decarbonization, energy storage and grid stability. With over 30 years industry experience, I’ve worked in all facets of hydropower including FERC licensing, regulatory and legislative matters, river system operations, energy and economic modeling, environmental matters, powerhouse design and construction, upgrade and expansion projects, as well as leading greenfield hydropower development programs. I’ve been involved in the FERC relicensing of over 55 hydropower facilities nationwide, facilitated or led significant negotiation efforts to achieve hydropower settlement agreements and have managed large-scale dam safety and powerhouse design efforts.I am proud to have served as Treasurer and Board Member of the National Hydropower Association, and served on the U.S. Department of Energy’s Core Team for the Hydropower Vision initiative. As the collaborative link between the DOE, NHA and industry, I had the honor of working with key partners across the industry to help set forth a new vision for the future of hydropower.
