During my tenure at HLI, I held the positions of Director of Recruiting, Training and Organizational Development; HR Director of the Commercial Highway and North American Wheel units (8 facilities) and HR Director of the Brakes & Powertrain as well as the Suspension business units (8 plants). While at HLI, my responsibilities included overseeing the global succession management process; championing the America's recruiting process; leading the HR responsibilities associated with the divestiture and / or closing of multiple facilities; leading union negotiations for the Akron, Ohio manufacturing site; overseeing HR activities at all manufacturing facilities (HR managers were dotted line reports); championing the America's gainsharing program and leading all Corporate site HR activities.
