I have worked in the marine industry for 34yrs. Re-powering, refurbishing,and service has been my interest. All aspects of wiring, gen-sets, controls,instrumentation, a/c, and the usual on-board support systems were also included. We were a do-all shop, (until the 04 hurricanes). I suppose the goal now is to survive in the field, which I love so dearly. Our (my) shop quote was: "If I can't fix it nobody can"..I would go to the ends of knowledge, experience,common sense,and a complete understanding of the systems, or components involved.Specialties: Well, as the most interesting thing to me, I would have to say trouble shooting a problem. Engines,since I was 15 or electrical are my favorite. With 45 years of ham radio experience,electrical issues are not a problem.
