Product Tech, Testing and Reg Support responsibilities included product customer support, ERP BOM creation and maintenance, material spec creation and maintenance, DOT and NMFC regulatory testing, competitive teardown analysis and testing, and product regulatory compliance documentation and certifications.- Consolidated original group from 78 to 42 high performing engineers, technicians and specialists.- Led engineering side of plant network consolidations resulting from lean manufacturing improvement initiatives. Typically consolidated 2 plants a year with $1-2MM fixed cost reductions.- Developed new manufacturing process yielding $5-20MM/yr savings.- Led transfer of Lever & Latch manufacturing from Canada to India, saving $1MM+/yr- Supported simultaneous acquisitions that resulted in record-time plant closures and consolidations, ~ $20MM/year synergies.
