Mr. Devol has been involved in Professional Engineering & Environmental Services since 1984 when he began assisting school districts in Ohio consult, properly plan, bid and award work for removal of asbestos from their facilities safely and in accordance with the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations.He relocated to Florida in 1986 and was quickly recognized as a leader in the field of asbestos consulting for schools based upon two years of expertise. He rose quickly through the ranks with Law Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. (LAW), where he worked for 18 years. During his tenure at Law he became an adjunct instructor with the University of Florida’s Training, Research & Education for Environmental Occupations (TREEO) Center (1989 – 2003) as well as becoming President of the Florida Environmental & Asbestos Council – 1994 and an active Director of that association for 6 years.In 2005 Mr. Devol was recruited from LAW / MACTEC by Clayton Group Services, which 3 weeks later, was acquired by Bureau Veritas, North America, Inc. as Division Manager of Health, Safety & Environmental Services and managed the Tampa & Miami Florida, New Orleans, LA & Houston, TX professional staff of Registered Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Geologists, Certified Industrial Hygienists and other scientists until December of 2011 when he decided to semi-retire and begin doing consulting on his own schedule. Mr. Devol has always dealt with the public in sales related functions, beginning with selling modular residential units as a teenager. He has always strived to and achieve success. Mr. Devol is a results driven marketing / business development professional with 35+ years of proven and progressive experience with a track record in strategic planning, marketing and business development.
