As Technical Director, I am responsible for the direction and oversight of Awnex and The Garrett Company's design and engineering disciplines. This includes establishing and executing our goals and objectives, in alignment with our overall organizational strategic plans. I provide technical leadership across all facets of our advanced design, documentation, fabrication, and installation process, by working in collaboration, communication and cooperation with architects, general contractors and dealers at every stage. This includes the development, implementation, and the assurance of the quality and continuous improvement, across all of our technical standards. Consumers Energy is a public utility that provides electricity and natural gas to >6.8 million residents in Michigan. The Electric Distribution Design Team is responsible and accountable for the utility electrical distribution designs in collaboration with the architects, general contractors and residential owners - to ensure that the designs are in compliance with all relevant codes and safety requirements. As a Designer, I was involved with onsite visits (real-time), blue print take offs and Auto CAD to create the final design.

BCN Technical Services is a leading supplier of press parts in the stamping industry. They manufacture >700,000 press parts to the original OEM drawings. Their press parts are applied to many different equipment lines including hydraulic presses, mechanical presses, pneumatic presses, etc. Additionally, they manufacture parts to repair the Bliss, Clearing, Niagara, and Warco clutch and brake units.As a CAD Support Engineer, I was the liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure that all of the working drawings were in digital format and accurate. Responsible for updating years of accumulated drawings using Auto Desk Solid Works and Auto CAD Mechanical.

By developing long-lasting relationships and working side-by-side with all of the different stakeholder groups - - including architects, builders, contractors, professional re-modelers and trade organizations - we were able to deliver a consistent, high quality, and differentiated customer experience.

Novabrik is a "patented mortarless brick siding system. The high strength concrete bricks overlap and interlock to create a strong, water resistant brick veneer. Novabrik is used in commercial construction and residential construction for new homes and remodeling." As a Sales Representative - I was responsible for the sales of all products within Novabrik's portfolio that applied to the Big Box retail stores/chains and Lumber Yards throughout the Midwest. This involved ongoing collaboration with architects and contractors - to ensure that they were aware of Novabrik's unique differentiation - for all of the points of application - and in which scenarios/circumstances they were the best fit. Using Auto CAD programs - we were able to add all of the elements of the Novabrik products to the final design - to estimate the quantity of material needed and cost estimates.
