I am a proven Engineering Technician Weapons with 22 years’ service in the Royal Air Force. Able to work well on own initiative and to demonstrate the highest levels of motivation and organisational skills required to meet tight deadlines. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communicates concisely at all levels. Enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team and is adept at achieving continually high standards whilst working long, unsociable hours in highly pressurised and challenging environments. I am coming to the end of my engagement in HM Forces and I'm looking to transfer my skills from both the RAF and my Mechanical Apprenticeship.In previous roles I was personally responsible for a number of key jobs, including: 1. First line composite maintenance of Chinook and Puma Helicopter platforms. 2. Training of personnel on various weapons and aircraft self-defence systems on both Chinook and Puma Helicopters.3. Planning and implementing management and engineering strategies across local and international arenas. 4. Responsible for the managing and immediate welfare for up to 30 junior ranks.
