• As a Lead Puppet Developer, wrote a multitude of Puppet scripts to systematically deploy and configure VMs into a virtual Data Center (vDC).• As a Developer/vSphere Administrator, wrote an application for the Professional Services Systems Engineers that configures a new system by configuring the networking parameters, datastores, creating RPVM clusters, then updating the internal eCDM database with this information. •Wrote server side code to add additional REST calls due to additional customer requirements. • As a Developer/vSphere Administrator, help create the Dell/EMC Data Protection Extension plugin. Responsible for integrating VMware's vRealize Automation (vRA)/vRealize Orchestration (vRO) applications with Dell/EMC's data protection software (Avamar, Networker, RecoverPoint, Data Domain). • Configured Jenkins and Sonarqube to automatically build, test, and check code quality after being checked into git.• Built development lab environments utilizing Cisco blade servers as ESXi servers. Configured using vSphere and vCenter for HA-based clusters. Maintained multiple vCenter clusters along with monitoring of CPU, memory and storage consumption via vSphere alarm parameters.• Designed and implemented a vCloud Director Private cloud for developer environments. Constructed vApps based on required application components including virtualized ESXi servers and stored in vCD catalog templates. Created vDC’s for each per developer and managed resource allocations. These cloud systems were built to rapidly deploy development environments to develop and test our software. • Created a multitude of Wiki pages on the infrastructure to allow us to build new environments, debug environment issues, user pages, etc. for the 20+ users (developers & QA) of the system. Also configured various backup systems to backup the entire infrastructure.• Worked as a developer writing server code in Java and client code in Flex for the scheduling part of the VDP application.

• On the Taylor & Francis project, served as the Project Lead, Technical Lead, and developer for an InputAccel and Documentum enterprise scanning solution. This solution comprised of three geographically dispersed organizations scanning thousands of documents per day and storing the information into a centralized Documentum Content Manager system using InputAccel. • On the Deloitte account, developed a custom publishing system that transformed and published XML content from Deloitte’s Documentum Content Server into PDF and HTML documents. Implemented XMetaL client customizations along with a C# GUI interface that accessed a remote DFS service using C# and Jscript.• On the Emergency Family Assistance Association project (EFAA), served as the Project Lead and Technical Lead helping EFAA select the best software solution for their organization. Managed the overall RFP process, created and managed their roll-out schedule, helped with technical issues and interfaced with the various vendors.• On the RTD project, installed and configured an enterprise Documentum solution that included: Documentum Content Manager, Documentum Administrator, eRoom Enterprise, Documentum Client for Outlook (DCO), Records Manager, Retention Policy Services, Site Caching Services, WebPublisher, and Business Process Manager/Services.• On the Cerner project, developed various applications in Visual Basic, Java, and C# that secured mission critical PDF documents and published these documents with their associated meta-data to a customer web site. Modified the Ascent Capture executable via the SDK to encrypt the PDF files with VeryPDF.

Results included major system upgrades that met user expectations and several follow-on contracts for additional support and enhancements. • As the Docbase/Database Architect for an SGML based Document Management/Workflow/ Composition system using Documentum (Dctm), responsible for Dctm Object definition, Oracle DB design/impl, Dctm Registered table design/implementation, Custom Attribute GUI design/impl, the client's business process validation, database and object attribute reporting, and DB synchronization.• For a major U.S. airline, responsible for the network infrastructure analysis, HW/SW architecture design, error handling design and analysis, and performance testing for a client/server (Windows/Sun) SGML based Doc Mgmt management and workflow system. • Technical lead responsible for fifteen-person teams for IBM Federal Systems / Lockheed Martin on the Early On-orbit Testing (EOT) task for the Defense Support Program (DSP) to verify the functionality of a new satellite. Wrote several AIX tools in Awk and C to analyze and understand the systems mission behavior. Also wrote several tools in C, AWK, and Ada for data analysis purposes and to improve the efficiency of the engineering and testing process. • Started my career designing and developing MSI and VLSI hardware and wrote several simulation tools.
