Dave is a partner in the litigation department of Freeborn & Peters who concentrates his practice in the area of complex commercial litigation. He joined Freeborn in August 2014.Prior to that time, Dave worked at the law firm of Winston & Strawn. He joined Winston in 1994, immediately after earning his law degree from Northwestern University, and spent two decades in the firm's Chicago office, trying cases and managing litigation for a diverse group of clients on a broad range of legal issues, including fiduciary duty and contract disputes, consumer fraud, class action defense, auditor liability, antitrust litigation, patent infringement and other intellectual property matters, partnership disputes, franchise law, defamation, and false advertising.
