David has been providing psychotherapy for the past fifteen years in a variety of treatment settings. Before joining The REDI Clinic, he worked in his own outpatient practice in downtown Milwaukee. Prior to that, he was employed at Rogers Memorial Hospital as the lead therapist treating adolescents and young adults in a residential setting. He was also the leader of a partial hospitalization program at St. Mary's Hospital. David is highly skilled in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with eating disorders. He has specialized training in Maudsley Family Therapy and Trauma Counseling. David has a genuine and engaging personality, and is able to create relationships with people that result in change and healing. In addition to providing individual and family therapy, he is the Clinical Care Coordinator for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and co-facilitates group therapy sessions on a weekly basis. His clients describe his therapeutic style as straight forward and realistic. He works with clients in a way that helps them evaluate themselves objectively which allows them to put their eating disorder and underlying causes into perspective. David completed his Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is credentialed by the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
