CurrentDave is an experienced Project Manager/Director with excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills and who heads up Mott MacDonalds Transport Planning team across the UK and Europe. He has approximately 33 years’ experience, 17 of which were working for the Local Authorities of Wirral Borough Council and Liverpool City Council and has significant experience in traffic and transportation working in both the public and private sector. Dave strives for continuous improvement and is committed to providing an excellent product to the client.Dave also has experience in managing transport planning projects which have covered all aspects of traffic management design through concept identification, scheme development and stakeholder engagement. He has recently worked on many projects which have been submitted through to business case submission for various local authorities and have been successful in acquiring funding. Dave is an experienced traffic engineer with extensive traffic management experience in junction design, directional signing, traffic regulation orders, bus priority measures, event management and general traffic signs and road markings. Throughout his career, he has introduced various traffic management schemes e.g. controlled / uncontrolled pedestrian crossings, traffic calming schemes, local safety schemes and road closures.
