I’m Dave, Founder and Managing Director at Edmonds Accountancy Ltd, a Berkshire based Accountancy firm with a goal to help businesses build towards a prosperous future. We are well-versed in a range of financial services; including business solutions, business and tax planning, start-up advice, self-assessment tax returns, tax investigation, VAT returns, payroll services, and more… to name a few.Over our time, we are proud to say we have worked with a range of successful businesses, including QB, KashFlow, Xero, and Sage, and we are constantly looking to grow and expand our clientele. In regard to my own personal background, I have obtained the FCMA Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA), CGMA Chartered Global Management Accountant (CIMA & AICPA), and CCMI Chartered Companion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) certifications, with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Business Administration at Reading University. I knew I wanted to do work that really mattered – and an opportunity arose to branch out on my own. I founded Edmonds Accountancy Ltd in 2004 from scratch, with my wife. My first clients were found by traversing the Yellow Pages and we grew from there.In my own personal out of office hours, I am a Head Coach at Reading University Judo Club. I am responsible for managing a Sports Coaching Program that works with over 50 schools in and around Berkshire. When at home I unwind with my wife Laura, son Charlie and 3 slightly boisterous dogs called Bobby, Teddy, and Baz.I have a passion for providing consistent outstanding quality, efficiency, and reliability within my work, and I have dedicated huge amounts of hours into building our business, purpose, and team, which has allowed us to do work that truly meets our passions and goals through, confidence, care & commitment.
