Part of a team that are responsible for training the new Jaguar Land Rover employees in Business Improvement, for their new engine facility being built in Wolverhampton.

• Main role was to ensure compliance across the business with the corporate (APS) initiative. This involved working with all departments, all levels, to develop their processes to meet specific requirement levels set by Head Office• Along with meeting the ‘Roadmap’ criteria, it was necessary for me to train employees in ‘lean’ improvement methodologies, such as: PDCA, 5 Why Root Cause Analysis, 5S, Process & Value stream Mapping, Pull Flow, OEE, etc.• Developed new business standards for the unit 2, and also for other ALSTOM units around the world• Assisted other factories around the world, including auditing them against the APS standards. This meant travelling around the world (repeat trips to Indonesia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey), and receiving benchmarking visits to Stafford (including external companies also)• Large involvement in Health & Safety, both developing new processes, or coaching employees on safe practices• General Management team tasks, including stability audits, introduction and development of KPI’s, Newsletter writing, factory tours, presentations to business
