Senior Operations Manager, South West (Eden Foodservice March 2008 – present)Reporting directly to the Managing Director and providing management for circa 200 schools in the South West for the 3 local education authorities and 1 PFI Company, directly responsible for all aspects of service delivery and budgetary management. Managing a business in excess of £11m with 3 Operations Managers as direct reports plus senior support functions also as direct reports. Assisting with sales bids and development of the business to further strengthen the company profile and portfolio. Fully responsible for all elements of profitability for all major accounts in the South West. Transformed a £1m loss on the Bristol account to now exceed profit budget, (2011 exceeded by 3.7%) turnaround position achieved in 2 years, items introduced to support achieving this; introduction of a Halal Central Production Unit to capture an element of the market place being missed, driving sales by 1,500 meals per day, also brought delivery services in house generating and instant £40k to the bottom line. Appointed as Mobilisation Manager for company, mobilised large scales contacts all going live on the same day, these include Hammersmith and Fulham (55 Schools) , Torbay (25 Schools), Brighton & Hove (65 Schools), Somerset (10 Schools).
