A successful professional with 27 years experience in the Oil and Chemical industry. I spent 12 years with DuPont , followed by 13 years with Conocophillips then 2 years in a senior management position with GB Oils Ltd the leading UK oil distributor. For the last 3.5 years I have worked to develop the Blue Bell Tents Ltd business primarily taking it successfully into the motorsports sector via the IOM TT & Classic TT. I have now taken a period of time off to enjoy the fruits of my labours and consider my future options and will only return to the work environment if a suitably interesting opportunity arises that lights my fire ! I have now taken the opportunity to start my own business 4 Ever TT Ltd - as I said before - freedom to chose and freedom to live.I have enjoyed various roles in management including being a member of the Conocophillips marketing leadership team and as General manager for the South West region of GB Oils.My passion and drive has resulted in me enjoying a varied and fruitful career to date often being recognised for my performance and as such approached to take on more demanding roles including management positions in procurement, retail filling stations, distribution, commercial sales, marketing and general management.My leadership style is predominantly transformational which has developed over the passage of time. This has allowed me to take my teams with me whilst driving performance in the process within an ever changing and economically challenged environment.I have a love of the outdoors, maintaining fitness and travelling in particular. I enjoy most sports, both watching and participating, with a great interest in all avenues of motorsports and a specific passion for motorcycles.Now enjoying life on the Isle of Man 🇮🇲👍
