Coordination of two separate Design Basis Memorandum (DBM) and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) packages. Specific highlights include:Area Lead for Production Treatment (2009-2010)• Focus on optimizing plant design using proven technologies and reducing capital cost• Lead the technology selection process for the Sulphur Removal Unit (SRU)• Development of the associated Project Execution Plan. • Program Change Coordinator and Lessons Learned Coordinator (assembling and implementing approximately 350 lessons from a similar plant at Tucker Lake). • Involved with the development of the contracting strategy and related market intelligence research, Request for Proposal (RFP) package issued to EPC bidders, EPC Bid Review, final negotiations, and contract award. Total contract award value in excess of 1 billion Canadian dollars.Area Lead for Field Facilities (2007-2009)• Coordination of the FEED package for 8 process pads, 5 make-up water pads, 4 disposal water pads, and 1 freshwater pad. • Project coordinator for obtaining regulatory approvals • Kicked off construction activities for pad development. • Developed scope and related RFP for a 1500 person construction camp, including benchmarking and contract strategy development.• Coordination of the DBM for the program’s underground and aboveground pipelines
