Temporary Contract role working on various projects and engineering tasks.

Responsibilities: • Designing products from initial concepts through to high volume production using Pro Engineer Wildfire & Creo Parametric 3d CAD system, incorporating cost effective assembly techniques.• Visiting potential customers to discuss specific project requirements.• Visiting and evaluating potential suppliers.• Producing reports & proposals for product improvements.• Updating designs & MRP data (IFS) using the BSI approved change note system.• Carrying out feasibility studies on potential design projects• Working with Production Engineering & Q.C. to investigate & solve problems on production lines.• Producing detailed Design FMEA’s

Responsibilities: • Managing a team of four designers working on both Pro Engineer and Autocad• Administering Intralink database• Organizing the input of item data onto the Baan MRP system• Implementing new systems to control updating of machine project data and drawings.• Liasing with Production to solve problems with machine builds.

Responsibilities: • Researching and producing designs for new products.• Working with Management Services team to introduce new assembly cells.• Designing and manufacturing jigs & test equipment and producing documentation to enable assembly staff to use them• Manufacturing samples and Pre-Production prototypes prior to implementing production assembly line.

Responsibilities: • Designing Potentiometers from customer specifications to Production for high volume manual & automatic assembly lines, using Cimlinc CAD system.• Carrying out detailed design FMEA• Designing jigs & fixtures for manufacture & testing of products.• Visiting customers in an Application Engineering role.
