I am a highly motivated and driven individual with a particular dedication to always delivering a professional quality of work. My proven track record of success highlights my methodical and highly organised skillset. My career progression from offshore technical to onshore operations has culminated in a high-level commercial role over the last 6 years. I aspire to develop this role further through exposure to new technology.A background in Exploration Geophysics with a career in the Oil & Gas industry spurred on by an enthusiasm for the rewards realised by high quality data. The progression from technical into commercial provided a solid foundation for skill development in the commercial and contractual strategy and negotiation space.Project Management has been a key interest of mine influenced by attention to detail and a methodical approach. Taking responsibility through leadership is key to a good project manager and I relish the associated challenges of collaborating with cross-disciplines made possible with my multi-skills honed from exposure in the field both remote onshore and offshore. Always at the centre of project management is developing a client relationship through mutual trust and a clear understanding of both party’s objectives. Whether working directly for a client in the field, working as a client managing a contractor, or negotiating a contract with a client requiring our services, my experience has taught me to recognise there are 2 sides to a relationship. Both sides have business objectives to succeed as a company with a balanced contract more likely to provide a successful partnership. Strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships to understand the value placed on high quality data delivery to aid their asset portfolio evaluation, typically to a tight timeline. I favour a proactive approach to understand a client’s objectives both from a technical and commercial perspective. Exploration acreage will have unique geological and geophysical acquisition objectives with associated operational, stakeholder and budget constraints. This valuable insight then allows for commercialising services and understanding the risk and reward profile.
