OVERVIEW: 34 years of Aircraft NC Programming, Tool Design, Planning, Postprocessors, and Vericut experience. I have a very diversified background starting out as a Manual Machinist (2Y) , CNC Operator (2Y), Setup Man, Tape proof and fixer, CNC Machine Shop Supervisor, Programmer, Post Builder with GEN4AX, PWORKS and ICAM, Vericut Expert, and Machine Builder, and an Advanced CAM Systems Engineer. One thing that defines my career, the first 4 years of programming, I was the only programmer, and had to do it all. I researched how to get to maximum out of each software tool I used. I developed the postprocessors, made high quality computer generated one page per tool shop documentation. I started using Vericut version 2, in 1990. Back then, you could not zoom or rotate and continue cutting. My solution was to develop many views zooming on areas. I set up batch files, so the PC running Vericut was always batching. So I could review snapshot, in process, and playback files. Another career definer: being chosen to lead the advanced implementation of Catia V5. I was empowered to research and setup the higher functions of V5, and leverage the technology. DS studies found few V5 customers use V5 to its fullest, and gain high R.O.I. of functions existing in the software. I know how to get the most out of Catia. I have connections to find out most anything.
