I have experienced a range of various industries within the previous number of years which has included Training Manager for Trident shipping. (subsidiary of Shell)Rostering and Payroll Manager for Rural Ambulance Victoria.Local Government, state government and public transport.As an operational firefighter with the County Fire Authority for the previous 23 years, I have a distinct understanding of the requirements for ensuring safety and teamwork is a fundamental necessity to obtain a required outcome.I then migrated into the private transport sector where I was employed as a OH&S adviser for a number of years.When that business went into receivership, I decided to semi-retire and concentrate on my own company as a Safety Consultant/Advisor,‘Universal Safety Consultancy’.Whilst I am not seeking anything specific, I have a wide range of skill sets and experience which I believe an employer will find extremely valuable. I am currently employed by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry whereby I am enjoying my position of OH&S trainer and facilitator. At present, I am training attendees in the C.I White Card and RTW Coordinators. I attend to clients site safety audits and assist in the review of clients Policy/Procedures. As a Public Safety Officer I find that I am requested to travel by a range of clients to attend festivals and events as the Safety Officer which in itself is a rewarding experience!
