CurrentMy current day to day duties include:• Account selection for Legal Proceedings is done based on a Litigation Scorecard criteria basis, with supporting information coming a variety of other sources. • Once accounts are selected for Legal Proceedings they are dealt with from commencement to conclusion (i.e. LBA through to Judgment & Enforcement) dependant on the debt type. • Small Claims mediation conference calls and negotiation of settlements via Consent/Tomlin Orders and… Show more My current day to day duties include:• Account selection for Legal Proceedings is done based on a Litigation Scorecard criteria basis, with supporting information coming a variety of other sources. • Once accounts are selected for Legal Proceedings they are dealt with from commencement to conclusion (i.e. LBA through to Judgment & Enforcement) dependant on the debt type. • Small Claims mediation conference calls and negotiation of settlements via Consent/Tomlin Orders and Without Prejudice offers in an effort to minimize unnecessary legal costs for the business• Deal with incoming daily correspondence from Claimant’s, Defendant’s, Solicitors and Court• Prepare and deal with outgoing correspondence tailored to the specific requirements of individual cases • Deal with incoming and outgoing (pro-active) telephone calls • Complete action review lists on a daily basis ensuring internal clients are kept up to date with all matters by way of reports, correspondence, emails, telephone calls and review meetings as requested• Take personal responsibility for being up to date in court rules and processes• Aid Head of Litigation with adhoc projects when requested (process mapping of various departments within the business)• Aid Collections Department and other business members with problem solving on accounts referred that are of a more complex nature and being a point of contact for technical queries• Working alongside and supporting the In-house Solicitor in the more complex Small/Fast Track claims for and against the business• Prepare legal bundles for upcoming hearings and instruction of the relevant agents to attend the hearing and report back with post hearing outcome• Rewrite the Particulars of Claim dependant on the debt type along with rewriting all LBA’s again dependant upon debt type.
