Management/Security Responsibilities:•Facility Data Security Officer responsible for annual security audits, policy adherence, and compliance reporting•Annual creation and quarterly review of Security Risk Assessment (SRA) documentation for third-party auditing•Daily oversight and direction of IT staff including one supervisor, four IT staff, and two clinical IS nurses•Creation and management of annual capital and operational IT budget•Management of all third-party IT services including negotiations, annual reviews, and monthly bill approvals•Negotiation, implementation, and management of all IT contracts•Develop and validate IT documentation, policies, and disaster recovery/business continuity plansTechnical Responsibilities:•Architecture, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including multiple SANs on Fiber Channel backbone, VMWare vSphere and vCenter environments, VMView Horizon infrastructure, Cisco Firewall, Cisco Cores and Switches, Cisco Wireless Network, WebSense (ForcePoint) Webfilter, Microsoft Windows Servers, HP and Dell physical server hardware, SQL Server and all desktop software and hardware•Support for several medical applications including Cerner EMR, TeleTracking, and DFM nutrition•Telecommunications Administrator for Avaya Aura, Ascom VOIP, and Responder 5 Nurse Call System

Work with the network team to support Microsoft Active directory services, Windows Server OS, Fortinet Firewalls, Q-Radar Siem, and any other function required of the network engineer role•Provide 24x7 tier two and three support of IT infrastructure including all Microsoft domain services, Microsoft Servers, VMWare infrastructure, Storage, and Network LAN/WAN environment•Headed security effort to implement Symantec Endpoint Protection to Windows Servers, Cisco IPS Blades, and QRadar SIEM•Developed and deployed plan to restructure Active Directory and Group Policy structure to align them with Microsoft best practices
