I coordinated over 2,000 mishap-free launches and recoveries of F-18, C-2, and E-2 aircraft aboard the Ford-class flight deck. I served as the Air Department's Division Officer of 180 personnel and In-Port Officer Section leader of 230 personnel. I coordinated monthly training of personnel including administration of training jackets and ensured 43 watches were scheduled and filled by qualified personnel every day of duty.

I accrued 682 hours of crew time in the instruction of fleet replacement aircrew students on the employment of the H-60R radar, dipping sonar, rescue swimmer procedures, and other missions. As the lower management of six personnel in the Training and Safety department, I was administratively responsible for the 43 staff Naval Aviation Training Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) jackets, building safety equipment, and bi-annual Industrial Hygiene inspection.

While assigned to Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Three (HS-3) as the Naval Aviation Training Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) Instructor and Training supervisor as Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and Antisubmarine Warfare in H-60F helicopter I accrued 1,347 hours of crew time conducted 46 NATOPS checks, maintained 39 NATOPS and Training Jackets, and instructed 92 hours of training in antisubmarine tactics and NATOPS ground training.
