Dave has been working for the last 5 years in the field of Metal Roof and Building Envelope Design. He has been involved with several High-Profile Projects, in Country and Internationally Designing Roof Systems and Fall Safety Systems for Large Scale Projects. His Unique Experience ranges through many different Fields of Drafting and Design. Starting in Structural Steel, moving first into Pre-Cast Concrete and then into Structural Cast-in-Place and Tilt-up Concrete, and then into Building Envelope Systems (Metal Panels and ACM) and now onto Metal Roof and Fall Safety Design.This Range of Experience gives him an Exclusive Perspective on the full scope of the Project from start to finish, as well as the ability to see Issues that may arise from other trades when looking at Architectural and Structural Drawings. 5 years experience in Building Envelopes with Kovach, Inc. and 5 years experience in Metal Roofs and Fall Safety with Bemo USA, combined with Structural Steel and Concrete Experience allows him to see things like Fasteners clashing with Reinforcement on Concrete Tilt Panels, Structural Steel issues with Connections for Metal Roof Panels and Fall Safety Components.Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Dave attended Lincoln High School until 1992, then after 2 years at ITT Technical Institute in Seattle, Graduated with the Phoenix Award in 1995. His first job in Drafting was hand drawing Structural Steel at Western Superior Structural Steel in Fife, Washington. Dave moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1999 to work at PACS drawing Precast Concrete until 2003 when the company disbanded. He then worked with Suntec Concrete drawing Cast-in-Place Concrete until 2007 when he started Impact Detailing, LLC. He has since worked with Kovach, Inc. and Bemo, USA.Dave is an Autodesk Certified Professional.Dave's Clients have included: Suntec Concrete, Baker Concrete, Kitchell Contracting, Riggs Companies, Concrete Structures, Inc.
