Duties included: Coordinating / Project Managing college courses for the unemployed, Apprenticeships and NVQ learners in the workplace. Monitoring and recording auditable paperwork ensuring compliance with internal college and external Ofsted / Awarding body requirements. Meeting with curriculum areas, Sub-contractors and employers to ensure excellent delivery and quality standards. Assisting with financial monitoring and monthly returns to governing bodies. I was also heavily involved in the induction of learners onto varied programmes (including IAG presentations).

Duties included: Managing a team of tutors in the delivery of courses for the unemployed. Planning delivery / courses, meeting with Jobcentre plus representatives, performance monitoring, financial monitoring and recruitment of staff. I also had to conduct and monitor health and safety pre-vets in line with company / national guidelines. I also assisted with the process of tendering for new contracts notably including the “winning” the Prime contractor contract for the Humber Region. In my time at A4e I also tutored learners in Jobsearch, Administration and IT in classroom setting. I was also responsible for the implementation of a number of local marketing campaigns via print media and jobs fairs.
