Having worked as an advisor to the Board and its Management Team, as well as Buisness Consultant with this Award Winning business, I have now taken on the role of Non-Executive Director. Having worked as a Volunteer Trustee for Halifax RLFC I moved into a Fiduciary Main Board role within the Club, responsible for all Operational aspects. Working with the Rugby Football League and other Halifax RLFC Board members to deliver excellence in all operational matters. Delivered change within the Club to improve customer experience, matchday experience,spread the Halifax RLFC brand and deliver culture change. My background in Senior Management, project management, strategic planning, people skills and of course Sport helped to deliver this initiative.

Failing to meet all its corporate objectives, lacking any strategic direction, operational and financial infrastructure I was responsible for engineering and implementing a holistic business transformation. This culmianted in the Foundation being nominated as one of the best 3 Foundations in the 25 team RFL Championshio/League 1 structure in 2019.Restructured operations to build brand equity and restore the reputation within the local community.Rebranded the whole Foundation public image, via social media and marketing initiatives.Spearheaded community engagement initiatives, introducing rugby training in local schools with focus on socio-economically challenging areas. Ran a series of workshops and events to highlight the importance of general health. Re-established the financial function of the foundation:Introduced meaningful cashflow and KPIs Devised a comprehensive action plan, identifying key areas of improvement. Secured considerable charitable donations and negotiated a grant from the Rugby Football League. Leveraged my network to:Broker agreements with other local Rugby clubs and the RFL.Restructure the Trustee committeeI successfully restored the reputation of the organisation, simultaneously raising the Foundation’s profile regionally through partnership working. Brighouse Distribution Centre, Brighouse, West Yorkshire

Member of the UK Hallmark Senior Management Operational Team and UK Operational Board member, with responsibilty for the whole site -350,000 sq ft/57,000 pallet location semi automated warehouse.-creating and delivering savings on £10m budget and developing its workforce (150-250 at peak) Regarded as a beacon site for Hallmark. Challenged the implementation of a new warehouse management system.Discovered major weaknesses within the platform rendering it incapable of addressing business needs.Recognising the potentially crippling impact of system failure, I presented my findings and rationalised the system failure to the CEO, board and key stakeholders which led to a subsequent cancellation of the GO LIVE.As a result, I received the Hallmark International Presidents Award for exceptional operational results in distribution, logistics and Managerial courage.
