Parker Fitzgerald is a consulting firm focused on risk management solutions for the banking and capital markets industry. This assignment was a two phase assignment on policy transformation in the area of Credit Risk for a major bank. It focused on Underwriting and specifically on the efficacy of regulatory adoption (Phase 1) and the subsequent progression of a number of improvement opportunities (Phase 2). Key achievements were as follows:+ Completion of a current state assessment, target state assessment and gap analysis + Delivery of a Strategic Roadmap, Business Case and Implementation Plan+ Over 50 material opportunities were identified which could have a positive impact on STP, customer turn-around-time, customer journey/experience and policy simplification+ Established and facilitated a Design Authority to engage key senior stakeholders on the design options and ensure all downstream risks fully considered+ 15 material opportunities were progressed in terms of the design, risk assessment, revised Policy wording and implementation considerations (including planning)

Brought in to help establish and evolve the Operational Risk Management team for Corporate Functions globally. The team have now grown to 20 people across multiple global locations - key responsibilities and achievements on this assignment were as follows:+ Implementation of the Operational Risk governance layers to ensure appropriate informational flows and decision/action taking + Comprehensive Operational Risk Management monthly reporting + Development and Implementation of a new Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) technology platform based upon the Nasdaq Bwise platform – this has subsequently supported two annual RCSA cycles+ Top Operational Risks – execution of an annual process for the past 2 years which included both quantitative and qualitative analysis and also included the development of a quantitative analysis modelling tool+ Implementation and evolution of the Operational Risk Framework+ Supported the ORM Global Head in the process for selecting and recruiting the global team over a 2 year period + Proposal for an Operational Risk Management Maturity Model to ensure clarity on a target end state and to facilitate the measurement of progress along the way

Re-established the Resilience One business to provide a platform for consulting and interim assignments. Has undergone Six Sigma Black Belt training to complement existing change management experience and methodologies. Key achievements were as follows: + Development of a Business Plan for a new Business, focused on Business Analytics. The focus of the plan was to attract investment in the pioneering of a new category of advanced analytics – Enterprise Behavioural Analytics

Reporting into the Global Head of Custody Operations, responsible for driving a number of key strategic Change initiatives across Custody Operations which employs over 1700 people globally. Key achievements were:+ Progressed a new Direct Custody & Clearing program to increase the JP Morgan presence in a number of priority markets globally with the first Operation going live in Hong Kong. This included the procurement & configuration of a new technology platform as well as the preparation and live running of the new Operation + Established a Custody Operations Change Group to drive and deliver a series of strategic Change initiatives globally which included Change Managers, Project Managers, Quality Assurance and Testing staff (approximately 50 staff in total)+ Development of a new Location strategy to increase overall efficiency of the Global Custody team which included the organizational changes, process changes and transition management + Underwent LEAN training and contributed to a number of LEAN initiatives across the Operation. Has also subsequently carried out Six Sigma Black Belt training

Resilience One was formed in 2007 to help businesses in Financial Services more effectively address business interruption risks as well as the delivery of strategic change. Key achievements are as follows: + Building of the business foundation for Resilience One including the Business Plan, infrastructure and products+ Forming of a strategic partnership with IBM which resulted in Resilience One being appointed as an IBM Business Partner in August 2007+ Defined a new approach to Work Area Recovery solutioning as well as initiating and developing two new IBM Work Area Recovery products to help firms increase risk mitigation and reduce costs+ Delivery of a number of interim/advisory assignments including Business Resilience solutioning, Business Continuity Planning, establishing a Programme Management Office and advising an Executive Management team on an existing IT/service delivery outsourcing arrangement
