Interim responsibility for various internal teams whilst the company restructured its senior management team.. Overall operational responsibility for Legal, IT, HR, Talent and Facilities teams, allow CEO to focus on product development. Lead emissions reduction project which has halved scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions per head since 2019 base year. Coordinated company OKR program, monthly KPIs and performance management. Ensured that day-to-day HR, IT and Facilities issues were addressed efficiently without impact on CEO

Supporting the founder/CEO by delivering key technical projects as well as taking accountability for finance, legal, HR, facilities and all daily operational duties.. Directly responsible for Software, Data Collection, Quality and Operations teams. Managed outsourced Finance, HR, Legal and IT functions. Implemented a 10-fold increase in the data content and the development of a SAAS client-facing platform. Prior to having a CFO, built and tracked budgets and cashflow forecasts and ensured that monthly accounts were accurate and reflected business accurately to the board. Co-ordinated extensive due diligence for successful fund raise. Designed and implemented a career development framework based on the company core values, applicable to all roles across software, data, consultancy and business admin teams, driving up employee retention

● Delivered four fold increase in Technical Services team in twelve months, supported by associated increases in business revenue● Established career development plans and graduate induction programmes leading to greater employee engagement and reduced time to new employees delivering fee earning work● Introduced improved operational processes and reporting metrics

● Led penetration testing and audit & compliance consultancy, training and business development teams● Responsible for setting and delivering 7Safe budget and heavily involved in marketing, recruitment and procurement● Supported due diligence process and then led integration across IT, Finance, Legal, HR and Facilities following 7Safe’s acquisition by PA Consulting in Dec 2011, all whilst maintaining BAU activity● Introduced working practices and controls, aligned with ISO 9001 and 27001 certifications including risk register, project reviews, client issues log and program of continuous improvement● Exposed to clients in all sectors from retail and banking to gaming and sports, often at times of stress when they had suffered a security incident● Transformed 7Safe consultancy business from a loss in 2010 to a substantial profit in 2011 through pro-active budget management, effective recruitment and strong leadership● Established robust sales and operations processes that informed bid/no-bid decisions, assessed project risks and had the flexibility to encourage the expansion of our core competencies● Experienced in information security and familiar with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and GDPR; responsible for 7Safe’s own compliance and business continuity

● Reduced annual service costs by over £1m by establishing defensive programming best practices and supporting tools in the real-time development team of 500 software engineers across four countries● Introduced Agile development practices to reduce the risk of missing externally mandated deadlines● Provided interface between development, internal and external clients on all service delivery initiatives

Included product gap analysis, client migration, employee relations management and redundancy program

● Developed and subsequently managed Topic3 data collection and distribution platform● Won the Kinsey Survey for Best London Trading Data Platform 1996, 97 & 98; ahead of Reuters, Bloomberg, Telekurs, Dow Jones and others● Designed and wrote database library from scratch, beating both the performance and flexibility of commercially available products
