Dave has been managing and shepherding financial operations for more than 30 years. He has leveraged his financial expertise and planning experience to produce results in a multi-billion dollar food organization as well to a small turnaround home fragrance company. Most recently, Dave as been working in interim assignments to assist companies on a short term basis to review and assess their financial structure and provide recommendations to the CEO, PE firm or Board of Directors. Dave was the Chief Operating and Financial Officer for ILLUME, a leading manufacturer and marketer of high quality branded and private label home fragrance and personal care products. The company’s trend-forward products can be found in over 7,000 retailers. Dave led the organization through a sale in 2016 resulting in a very positive outcome for the shareholder.Prior to joining ILLUME, Dave was the VP, Finance at Quality Ingredients. He was instrumental to bringing more rigor and process to its financial operation. Dave’s had a long and successful finance career with The Pillsbury Company where he was able to build and hone his financial acumen inside of a multi-billion dollar organization. Dave was on the board for St. Croix Lutheran High School for 3 years and also a member of the Bloomington Fast Pitch Association board, he has enjoyed being able to bring his financial council and expertise to both of these boards. Dave achieved his BA in Accounting from the University of Washington and his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University.
