CurrentManages/integrates equipment installation in support of FTTC & Metro 10GB and 1GB fiber rings builds and turn up, equipment installation in support of 10GB fiber ring upgrade to support customer circuit upgrades & new orders, as well as coordinate and organize DWDM builds for customer orders and network enhancements and migrations of customer circuits to new equipment. Reviews Program Guides, Project Manuscripts and related documentation for verification of equipment, fiber assignments & space and power for new equipment installation. Engages Network Design Engineers to request updates and make corrections to necessary documentation if required. Analyze and review equipment orders, engaging Purchasing and necessary departments to add any necessary additional equipment and expedite to improve lead times in order to meet project deadlines. Track duties and prioritize jobs using WFM task system and trackers. Map, track & schedule High Risk activities using Field Squared, as well as tracking and verifying equipment orders via EBS system. Proficient in Change Management using this to coordinate maintenances with NOC as well as Netcracker to verify customer services and circuits assignments & circuit paths. Common equipment installations include (but are not limited to) ADVA, Cisco NCS 540, Cisco 15454, Cisco 3600, Ciena 3930, Ciena 3928, Ciena 3903, Ciena 3916, Ciena 5142, SM & MM SFP’s, Emerson rectifiers, dual & single fiber jumpers. Responsible for coordinating shipping/delivery/deployment of inventory with regional warehouses. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize as needed. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook & associated platforms.
