Activity includes monitoring of lead beneficiary companies, review of quarterly financial defrayments, compilation of quarterly claim submissions to DCLG, and subsequent draw down of funding for payment back to project lead beneficiaries.

The company provide engineering solutions to the offshore industry including pipelay tower systems for pipelaying vessels, ploughs, trenchers, and carousels for subsea cable and pipelaying operations.My role was the day to day management of the control systems department comprising engineering staff designing PLC and SCADA control systems as well as the associated networking and interfacing to existing systems such as emergency stop and guidance equipment. Additionally the role involved liaison with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical departments, as well as tender support to sales teams, testing and commissioning support to contracts near completion, and ongoing lifecycle support for previously completed contracts

Worked on design of the subsea instrumentation and associated cabling for a subsea power generating machine.Developed the inhouse capability to perform small wind turbine testing in accordance with the UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and IEC 61400 standards.Member of Small Wind Technical Steering Group and Small Wind Strategy Group at RenewableUK, and also a member of working group 3 within the MCS governance structure for wind turbines.

Working as a member of a team carrying out design studies to modify or otherwise enhance the operation of the Norwegian platform 'Heidrun', the largest TLP (Tension Leg Platform) in the world. The work involves offshore visits to Heidrun to carry out surveys of existing plant and equipment, as well as discuss operational problems and planned revisions with platform technical and operational staff. Subsequent onshore activities include revision of existing platform design data, development of a number of options to achieve the clients requirements, and subsequent compilation of detailed technical reports for discussion and further development with the client.

Responsible for managing all systems engineers, including a remote design office based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire and recruitment of all engineering disciplines within the business unit. Perform project management roles when required for key clients and assist in tenders on the systems engineering content. Forged strong relationships with key suppliers resulting in achieving systems integrator status with Rockwell Automation, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Wonderware and Intellution.
