Principal Accountabilities:- Provides management and mentoring to a team of SOC analyst- Performs day-to-day management of the Security Operations Center.- Provides Senior DFIR assistance as needed.- Performs analysis of network security needs and contributes to design integration and installation of hardware and software.- Maintain and configure security systems, e.g., network and host-based Intrusion Prevention Systems, firewalls, VPN connections, antivirus protection, malicious code defense, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and other security technologies- Development of security standards and procedures- Develop and maintain a security incident response process.- Develop and maintain the F5 LTM, F5 ASM, F5 APM, and DNS production environments- Design and implement corporate-wide Identity Access Management initiatives to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts and to enable Single Sign On across Active Directory and business applications.- Perform internal audits to identify security issues, system vulnerability, and risks, and lead the development and implementation of mitigation plans to ensure asset protection.- Interfaces with Network Services groups and/or providers to ensure timely problem resolution and the required level of support is provided.- Design, implement and document computer forensics services to include evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery.- Performs other duties as required

Provided technical direction of entire IT department. Conducted thorough research of new products to fill business needs. Provided comprehensive support for Smoothwall proxy, Aventail SSLVPN and Mcafee products; provided third-level support for any and all technical issues. Consistently followed up on support to ensure positive outcomes. Designed and automated new projects for hardware/software upgrades and new rollouts, including: • Migration of 300 servers from Netware 6.5 to Suse Linux Enterprise Server.• Designed nationwide eDirectory tree, supporting over 14,000 employee’s across 120 locations.• Created hierarchical and fault tolerant DNS infrastructure. • Set up disaster recovery for all corporate servers and services.• Managed Netware 5.1 to Netware 6.5 upgrade project for over 200 servers.• Managed Netware 4.11 to Netware 5.1 upgrade project for over 200 servers.

Completed Directory Integration project utilizing Novell Identity Manager. Connected eDirectory, LotusNotes and Oracle; designed and built all systems (including server, backup, DNS, DHCP) and entirenetwork from the ground up. Automated installation and upgrade of new Netware servers for new company with 5,000 employees, 3,500 users/desktops and 300 servers.

Led one of five teams completing CIMSII rollout project; oversaw up to two direct reports. Traveled for 18 months to all box plants nationwide; set up network, PCs and servers. · Migrated to Packaging Corporation of America, Inc. with CIMSII team following restructuring of Tenneco Packaging Inc. into three separate entities

Integrated systems and provided help desk support for multiple small to mid-sized companies. Functioned as Project Lead on a wide variety of complex projects; oversaw team of up to two for each project.

Participated in paid internship program. Primary responsibilities included set up, installation and configuration of desktop computers, as well as the set up and configuration of PCs to Novell Network. Provided extensive help desk software/hardware support to approximately 300 end users.
