I’ve been fortunate enough to discover something I both love and am great at: inspiring people to see things differently and seize opportunities to do things better every day. Since 2002, I’ve been working as a consultant in problem solving, using Lean Six Sigma and other approaches to improve customer focus, growth and profitability for my clients.Much of the early part of my consulting career was focused on project execution and coaching, but over the years the balance has shifted such that I spend most of my time delivering training, facilitating workshops, and developing other leadership skills, primarily with large multinational organisations around the world. Many of the courses are focused on problem solving, but I also deliver programs in leading change, statistical thinking for leaders, and managing your personal brand, among others. I’m also a certified DiSC facilitator, a model I’ve found really useful for understanding my clients and helping them understand each other to work more effectively.After finishing my undergraduate degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Arizona, I joined GE Nuclear Energy as an engineer in what is now called the Technical Leadership Program. While at GE for nearly 10 years, I developed the foundation of problem solving, leadership and development skills that I’ve been able to use for the entirety of my career. I also have a Masters in Engineering Managment from Stanford, which is basically an MBA with a strong technical focus.Although I’m originally from the US, I’ve been living in London since 1997, which continues to be a fun and exciting adventure!
