As a Cloud Solutions Architect for the Digital Enterprise Business within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, responsible to support pre-sales engineering efforts, technology architecture and solution design for large OT<->IoT<->IT opportunities in North America. Provides "expert" technical support on company products and technical integration (i.e. gateways to 3rd party systems) to district operations. Delivers integrated solutions training and technical support for field technicians. Provides on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues. Provides technical support to field technicians on company products. Diagnoses and resolves technical problems on jobs and provides appropriate reports to management. Works with other District Automation Specialists to develop and share technical solutions. Coordinates installations and/or upgrades of Apogee and System One Hosts with Customers IT Department. Troubleshoots any network , software, hosted system malfunctions. Reviews new technical documentation and provides communications and training to field technicians. Mentors field technicians on company systems and service products. Provides technical sales assistance and support on new company products. Performs product demonstrations and communicates design strategies to district sales executives. Participates in advisory teams for new product releases, project slates, and technical training development. Maintains technical expertise on all new products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives.

Provide Specialist support, engineering Review, Startup/Cx process control, and manpower allocation.

Provide expertise and knowledge throughout the system or service project lifecycle. Estimate, design, plan, track, start up and commission large revenue projects. Prepare submittals containing schematics, descriptions and technical literature. Obtain submittal approval and prepare as built drawings. Troubleshoot issues and perform debugging of software, electrical, and installation problems. Prepare database and job related programming for computer-based systems. Prepare and justify engineering re-estimate reports. Provide on-site assistance with the installation and start-up, checkout and turnover process. Participate in job site final walk-through on assigned jobs and complete all job closeout documentation. Act as a technical resource to existing customers and field technicians as needed. Manage and coordinate with technicians and subcontractors on assigned projects. Provide training to lower level engineers and specialists.

Ensure that building automation system is properly maintained and operating correctly. Complete service repairs, replacements, upgrades, system start-ups and checkout, adjustments and calibration on automation systems and components. Coordinate with electrical and mechanical contractors with completing new installs and migrations. Deliver technical support, coaching and direction to end users.
